Most of us cannot wait to get behind the wheel of a car and hit the road – but you need to have driver’s license to be able to enjoy this wonderful pleasure of course. And to get a driver’s license, you need to pass the dreaded driving test, and that can be harder than it sounds.
###
We’ve all heard of people who have failed their test over 10 times and granted, it can be a tricky and nerve-wracking experience – but if the candidate is confident, displays good car control and does everything the examiner asks of him/her, they should pass and get a license.
###
The examiner doesn’t know your strengths or weaknesses and so it is the duty of the candidate to assure the examiner that they are “safe drivers”. And even if the student was to make up to seven minor mistakes, they’d still have a good chance that they’d pass – eight mistakes result in a fail.
###
Some of the common errors students tend to make include failing to adjust their seat or mirrors (doing so will help them to drive smoothly), driving considerably slow, waiting for instructions from the examiner or asking the permission to react to a situation which demands immediate action from the driver and parking in an unsafe spot after the test.
###
However, we spoke to Emirates Driving Institute and they told us these following five blunders will lead to an automatic fail…
###
1 – Failure to stop
###
If a candidate fails to stop at a red signal, stop sign, or stop line, he/she will automatically fail the test…
###
2 – Crashing
###
If you collide with a mobile or immobile object or make an action or trigger the intervention of the examiner and or cause any other motorist to swerve/brake to avoid collision, you’ll fail…
###
3 – Not obeying to traffic signs
###
Not adhering to traffic signs or the examiner’s directions (entering a no-entry sign or yellow box at junctions) or driving on the wrong side of the road means you’ve failed…
###
4 – No car control
###
A lack of vehicle control to the extent that proceeding with the test is deemed hazardous or failure to follow a required maneuver results in a fail…
###
5 – Not looking
###
Failure to ensure the road, lane or roundabout is clear before entering/proceeding means, yep, you’ve failed…
