Turned Away From Sleeper Class, 1-Year-Old With Critical Heart Condition Dies On Train

A 1-year-old girl child with a critical heart condition who was being rushed to a hospital died on a train and her family is blaming negligence from the Railway authorities for the death.

1-year-old Mariyam, the daughter of Shameer and Sumayya, residents of Kannur, Kerala had to be rushed to the Sree Chitra Institute of Medical Science, in Thiruvananthapuram for heart treatment.
