Bad Weather Puts Search To Halt, IAF Announces Rs 5 Lakh Reward For Information On Missing Plane

On June 3, an AN-32 aircraft went missing in Arunachal Pradesh after taking off from Assam’s Jorhat and the bad weather has forced authorities to put search operations on hold for sixth consecutive day.

To help with search operations, the Indian Air Force has now announced a cash reward of Rs 5 lakh for information on missing aircraft.

Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Eastern Air Command Air Marshal RD Mathur made the announcement for the cash reward and released phone numbers where people can call give information to IAF – 0378-3222164, 9436499477, 9402077267 and 9402132477.
