Making name with its controversial advertisements featuring provocative photography, American Apparel is now available from department store Selfridges. The LA retailer just opened a shop-in-shop on the ground floor features 700 sq. and sits next to other top international brands. This is the first and only permanent American Apparel store of its kind, and will be designed to highlight the company’s latest women’s styles.
In addition to its new, fashionable women’s pieces, American Apparel’s basic styles will be available at this store. The company’s location is looking to attract both to long time customers stocking up on their favourites and to the upscale shoppers at Selfridges. The company has curated about 100 Made in USA styles for this new store.
