The Paris Saint-Germain attackers are predicted to become the standout players in world football, according to the Napoli coach
Kylian Mbappe and Neymar are the heirs to Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, according to Napoli coach Carlo Ancelotti.
Napoli play host to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on Tuesday and head into the game a point ahead of their opponents after three matches in Group C.
But Ancelotti – who coached PSG for two years until 2013 – is wary of the talent at Thomas Tuchel’s disposal, particularly Mbappe and Neymar.

World Cup winner Mbappe is among the favourites for this year’s Ballon d’Or, as the coveted award appears set to be won by someone other than Ronaldo or Messi for the first time since Kaka in 2007.
But, even if he is beaten to the individual gong, Ancelotti is convinced Mbappe is sure to win it eventually.
“He is a credible candidate to take the place of these champions [Ronaldo and Messi] who win all the trophies,” Ancelotti told Telefoot.
“I think that Mbappe and Neymar can be the successors of Ronaldo and Messi.
“If he [Mbappe] does not win the Ballon d’Or this year, he will win it in the coming years without any problem. All teams dream of having him.”
Regarding Neymar, Ancelotti added: “Being in the heart of the game makes him even more dangerous and more effective for the team.”
The first meeting between PSG and Napoli finished 2-2 at Parc des Princes last month, with the French champions twice coming from behind to snatch a draw, with Angel Di Maria scoring a stoppage-time equaliser.
Liverpool lead the way in Group C, but just two points separate the three clubs, with only two places in the last 16 available.
Ancelotti is looking forward to the home date with PSG and is aware of how important the result will be in determining Napoli’s chances of reaching the knockout phase.
He continued: “It will be an important game that can be decisive for both teams.
“We have fallen into a very complicated group and this game can determine the destiny of one of the two teams. To win, we will have to play an extraordinary game because we do not have players as incredible as those of PSG.”
