Once Spurs fans saw the picture used to tweet the news they knew it was bad.
Another stadium announcement, another disappointment as they will now face Arsenal at Wembley Stadium instead of their almost complete new arena.
Due to have been opened on September 15, it’s set to be opened at least six months late with some believing the club are preparing to face Crystal Palace in the middle of March at the new 62,062 ground.
And supporters are now so used to the disappointment they’re actually posting some pretty funny responses to the Tottenham’s post on Twitter.
