Manchester United are currently enjoying a tremendous run of form under caretaker boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Brought in on a temporary contract after Jose Mourinho’s sacking, the ‘Baby Faced Assassin’ is unbeaten and has seemingly given the Red Devils a new lease of life.
Anthony Martial has made a U-turn on his future and signed a new deal the club, with Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford slowly but surely forming a lethal partnership.
When the Champions League draw was announced and Paris Saint-Germain were revealed as United’s opponents, there was an air of inevitability around the club.
However, United’s raucous return to form, Neymar’s injury and the added incentive of Solskjaer potentially getting the job with a positive result have completely and utterly changed the mood surrounding the tie.
But where do the club go in the future? Despite Solskjaer not yet officially being appointed, the club are reportedly lining up a trio of Serie A superstars for next season.
