Manchester United transfer news: Bayern Munich and Juventus ‘keeping tabs’ on goalkeeper Dean Henderson

Bayern Munich and Juventus are keeping tabs on Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson, reports claim.

The 21-year-old is starring in a loan spell for Sheffield United in the Championship.

He has played every minute of the Blades’ league campaign, which sees them just three points off the automatic promotion places. Only Middlesbrough and Bristol City have a better defensive record than Chris Wilder’s side.

Henderson spent last season on loan at Shrewsbury, who missed out on promotion to the Championship after losing the League One play-off final to Rotherham.

The young stopper was named in the League One Team of the Year and signed a new two-year deal with United last summer.

ESPN say Bayern Munich and Juventus are monitoring Henderson’s progress.

The England Under-21 international is behind David de Gea, Sergio Romero and Lee Grant in the pecking order at Old Trafford, but is highly-rated by academy staff.

Henderson is the latest Englishman to be targeted by Bayern Munich, who had a £35million bid rejected by Chelsea for 18-year-old winger Callum Hudson-Odoi last month.
