James Milner posted a brilliant Eminem-inspired response to a fan on Twitter.
The supporter first sent the Liverpool player a bizarre tweet asking where he could purchase a pair undershorts as worn by former Reds number seven Luis Suarez.
Just a few hours later, the impatient fan sent Milner another tweet inspired by the obsessive Marshall Mathers song Stan.
He wrote: “Dear Mister ‘I’m too good to call or write my fans’. This will be the last tweet I ever send your a**. It’s been six months and still no word, I don’t deserve it?”
The 33-year-old adapted lyrics from the song to politely tell the person he was asking the wrong Liverpool number seven.
Milner tweeted: “Dear Lee, I meant to tweet you sooner but I just been busy. Why are you so mad? Try to understand that I do want you as a fan… but you’re asking the wrong number 7 #damn.”
Milner has amassed 508,000 followers since joining the social media platform in March 2018.
He is quickly catching up with the parody account Boring James Milner who has 634,000 followers.
The Liverpool player has shown he’s not afraid of self-deprecating tweets that are even better than the parody account.
