Chelsea Women 0-2 Manchester City Women: England striker Nikita Parris strikes twice as Citizens reach the Women’s League Cup final

England striker Nikita Parris scored a brace as Manchester City breezed past Chelsea to reach their fourth Women’s League Cup final in five years.

The Blues dominated the first half but failed to make their chances count at Kingsmeadow.

Parris got her first from the spot shortly after the break after being brought down in the box by Deanna Cooper.

After being played through on goal ten minutes from time she made no mistake and coolly slotted home.

The victory means City will now face the winners of the game between Arsenal and Manchester United – which tales place on Thursday at Borehamwood.
