Championship 2018/19 final table: Super Computer predicts where every team will finish – *February update*

The battle to reach the Premier League is hotting up and it’s turning into a three-horse race in the Championship with three months of the season left.

Norwich City moved ahead of Leeds United into first place – on goal difference – after a stunning away win at Elland Road last time out.

Chris Wilder’s Sheffield United – who narrowly missed out on the play-offs last season – are only three points off their promotion rivals after losing just one of their previous five games.

Derby County and Bristol City both have 47 points on the board, with the Robins lying in the final play-off spot as a result of a +3 better goal difference.

Midlands rivals Birmingham and Aston Villa, as well as Hull City and Blackburn Rovers, are four points off the top six – with a gap beginning to develop.

At the bottom of the table it still very much looks like mission impossible where Ipswich Town’s survival hopes are concerned.

They are now eight points adrift of 21st placed Rotherham, with fellow strugglers Bolton and Reading in touching distance of the latter.

Predicting how the campaign will end is a fool’s errand, so we’ve fired up the trusty talkSPORT.com Super Computer once again to have its say on the 2018/19 Championship season and final standings.
