Celtic have confirmed the arrival of German full-back Jeremy Toljan on loan from Borussia Dortmund.
Hoops manager Brendan Rodgers told talkSPORT on Thursday that he was hoping to add more players to his squad on transfer deadline day.
And the boss got his wish, with Toljan agreeing to join the Scottish champions for the remainder of the season.
The 24-year-old, who moved to Dortmund from Hoffenheim in 2017, is a former Germany Under-21 international.
He made 17 appearances for Dortmund last term but has seen his game time dry up this season, making only one appearance for the Bundesliga leaders.
“This is an exciting move for me and I’m delighted to be joining a club like Celtic, which has a great reputation throughout Europe,” Toljan said in a statement.
“I’m looking forward to meeting my new team-mates and working with the manager, and I’ll be doing everything I can to help the team to be successful in the remainder of this season.
“I can’t wait to get started and give all I can for this great, iconic club.”
