Villans centre-back Tyrone Mings starts the game after it was decided he will not face any retrospective action for his stamp on Reading’s Nelson Oliveira last weekend despite the forward suffering serious facial injuries.
Jack Grealish remains out with a shin injury but has resumed light training.
Meanwhile, United boss Chris Wilder has made two changes to his team – Gary Madine and Kieran Dowell starting the game. They come in for Mark Duffy and David McGoldrick.
