Aboubakar Kamara: Fulham forward completes loan move to Turkey after being banned from club

Fulham’s controversial forward Aboubakar Kamara has completed a loan move away from the club, it has been confirmed.

Kamara, 23, has penned terms with Turkish side Yeni Malatyaspor until the end of the season, Fulham announced.

“Fulham can now confirm that Aboubakar Kamara has joined Turkish side Yeni Malatyaspor on loan until 30th June 2019, subject to international clearance,” a statement read.

“Kamara joined Fulham in July 2017 from Amiens and has scored five goals in 15 appearances across all competitions so far this season.

“The Club would like to wish Kamara all the best for the remainder of the season in Turkey.”

The 23-year-old has been suspended by the Cottagers pending internal disciplinary proceedings due to a training ground incident last week.

Kamara was arrested on suspicion of actual bodily harm and criminal damage, with the forward now set for a fresh start in Turkey.

He made 15 appearances for Fulham this season, scoring five goals, having also played a key role as the west Londoners won promotion from the Championship last term.
